Entering The Whites!!!

The time had finally arrived. We had our views of the Whites, days before. We saw th snow, and nothing could add to the anticipation more, than more snow. It began snowing the day we entered and put down about 6 inches before it left 2 days later.
One morning we woke up to decending down a verticle waterfall, for several hundred feet, while everything but the water was eithe snow or ice, and I can not express verticle enough..
In the tree line the snow was 4-5 feet deep and along with the fallen trees, it made navigation horiable at times. We both were cut up, bruised and just mentally drained. All that, and alls we could think about was the next range, The Presidentials.
