After a soaking wet night, we woke to a clear, bu very windy morning. Some gust were strong enough to knock you off you feet if you were not careful.
Climbing up the boulders, to the top of Baxter Peak was quite a surpise. All through the hike we had class three boulder scrambles, but this was the best of all. Mount Katahdin was also the best mountain on the entir hike. I feel it was a great way to finish a hike and could not ask for anything better...
