Left town with Speedbump and Estro as well as Raisins.
There was a lot of jeep road up on the divide in this 104 mile section. But there was also some nice hills and mountains. Water was plentiful for the most part. We took a couple purple routs to add to the excitement and I dread the day that the official route becomes a must to all the so called purist. I see that inevitable as the trail becomes completed. I myself, am finding the desire to venture off on the paths less traveled.
Anyways, there were a lot of us in Leadore. I picked up my GPS at the PO, and head out of town first thing in the morning.
